Happen to have an old wooden crate stacking unused in your warehouse ? Why not recycled it into something more useful than laying waste.  Found these lovely pictures of repurposed old wooden crate as a shoe storage in a kindergarten.

The crates were painted with a soft cheerful color  giving a nice worn out vintage look result that match with the white painted wall. It could also be a nice book shelves to go with your vintage  / shabby interior design.
